It’s a holiday weekend, which means it’s time to take a fresh look at our 2024 fantasy football rankings. Before you know it’ll be the Fourth of July, and then we’ll be right back into fantasy football draft mode.
Let’s get the 2024 fantasy football season right with our rankings. Of course, this is still early. With so much yet to unfold across the NFL landscape, this list will undergo many changes over the next several months.

1. Christian McCaffrey, SF (RB1)
McCaffrey is the king of the fantasy football rankings for at least one more year. He averaged 5.4 yards per carry and scored 21 total touchdowns in 2023. Yes, he’ll be 28, but that won’t stop him yet.
2. Tyreek Hill, MIA (WR1)
Hill will be 30, but the speed is still as good as ever. He averages nearly 11 targets per game. Wheels up for the Cheetah. Hill dominated in yards per route run.
3. CeeDee Lamb, DAL (WR2)
Over the second half of 2023 (Weeks 8-17), Lamb saw 34% of all targets in Dallas, and he had 315 more receiving yards than any other player. If he keeps that pace for a full year – watch out. He might finish as the overall best fantasy player.
4. Justin Jefferson, MIN (WR3)
Everything was in place for Jefferson entering the draft except the identity of the guy throwing him the ball. Sam Darnold might have been fine, but not much above that. But then the Vikings nabbed J.J. McCarthy in the first round, the last piece of the puzzle to keep Jefferson near the top of the heap at wide receiver. He was the 1.01 in most drafts last year.
5. Ja’Marr Chase, CIN (WR4)
Chase transcended QB play and scored 28 more fantasy points than expected in 2023. He’ll be more consistent with Joe Burrow back next year. Also, Burrow now looks like this:

6. Bijan Robinson, ATL (RB2)
Robinson gets a new head coach, new offensive coordinator and new quarterback heading into his second season, so he gets the same buzz.
7. Breece Hall, NYJ (RB3)
Hall had a slow start to 2023 as he returned from his torn ACL, but he flashed explosive plays all season long both on the ground and through the air (74 receptions through Week 17). More TDs should come in 2024 — assuming Aaron Rodgers stays healthy.
8. Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET (WR5)
St. Brown was the only non-QB to score at least 20 PPR fantasy points in all three rounds of the fantasy playoffs in 2023. Will he somehow be underrated in fantasy again?
9. A.J. Brown, PHI (WR6)
Brown went six straight games with over 125 receiving yards in 2023. Don’t overthink the slump Philadelphia had at the end of 2023. Brown will dominate again.
10. Jahmyr Gibbs, DET (RB4)
The Lions bolstered the trenches and defense this offseason, not the weaponry. Not that Gibbs might have lost his job, but more backfield help and/or more receivers might have cut into his workload. Instead, he’s locked and loaded for Year 2. Yes, two Lions are in the top 10 of my 2024 fantasy football rankings.
